Animals, madmen, and those with more susceptible minds are driven to despair by the supernatural forces that permeate the portals. A handful of investigators race against time to find the symbols of the Old Ones necessary to close the portals forever. Only they can prevent the Ancient One from finding its way to Earth and reducing humanity to cinders.
