What are Play Boosters?
Play Boosters are the best of what Draft and Set Boosters have to offer, combined into one perfect product, suitable for both players Limited Magic players, such as booster drafts and sealed packs, as well as for avid collectors who like to open booster packs.

Until now, before the release of Murders at Karlov Manor, you could choose between draft, set or collector boosters to collect new cards. Collector boosters remain unchanged and are still a booster for special foils, special edges and exclusives. Draft and Set boosters disappear and are replaced by Play boosters. Play boosters were specifically developed with Draft boosters and sealed decks in mind, but even ripping boosters remain exciting until the last card thanks to the increased chance of showcase cards and rares or mythic rares!

Boosterbox Composition

• The Play Booster box contains 36 Play Boosters.
• The Play Booster contains 15 Magic: the Gathering cards from Murders at Karlov Manor.

The composition of the play booster is as follows:

• 6 to 9 commons.
• 3 to 5 uncommons
• 1 to 4 rares or mythic rares
• 1 basic land
• One foil card at a time
• 1 art card, token or advertising card

In the play booster you always get at least one rare and always one foil card. In addition, in every seventh booster you will not find a rare, but a mythic rare! In one of the eight boosters you will find a card from The List* or Special Guest instead of a common card. In addition, the play boosters contain two wild card slots, one foil and one non-foil. Cards in the wild card slot can be of any rarity, from common to mythic rare.
