Destined Rivals
The Destined Rivals Pokémon set is the 10th edition of the Scarlet and Violet series. It was released on May 30, 2025. It is a highly anticipated edition as it follows the once very popular Team Rocket. Originally this set was supposed to be called The Glory of Team Rocket, but only the Japanese edition carries that name. The English version is called Destined Rivals and will consist of two Japanese editions (The Glory of Team Rocket and Heat Wave Arena).
Since this is the standard edition, the following Pokémon products will be on sale: booster boxes, packs, elite trainer boxes, 3-packs, checklane blisters, premium checklane blisters, and later build and battle stadium or card albums.
Did you know what complementary or special sets mean?
Special sets (or subsets, holiday edition, or half edition in Czech) are additional sets of cards (e.g. Black Bolt and White Flare, Prismatic Evolutions, Pokémon 151 Card, Paldean Fates, ...) that are released outside of the main editions (e.g. Journey Together, Paldea Evolved, ...). They are designed to bring something special - unique design, thematic focus, or exclusive reprints.
