What does Mega Evolution mean? Mega Evolution is a special form of evolution that was first introduced in the Pokémon X and Y games. Unlike regular evolution, it is temporary and takes place exclusively during battle. The Pokémon's stats - attack, defense, speed - are increased, and it gains a new ability. An important element of the strategy is the fact that during a single match, a trainer can only use Mega Evolution on one Pokémon, returning it to its original form when the match is over. In some cases, its type also changes. For example, Mega Charizard X loses its original Fire/Flying type and becomes Fire/Dragon.

Mega Evolution is often tied to the strong bond between a Pokémon and its trainer, and is associated with the energy of the Kalos region. Kalos is one of the regions, and appears in the 6th generation in the Pokémon X and Y games. This region is inspired by France, not only visually but also culturally. Therefore, it may come as no surprise that this region focuses on beauty, evolution, and the bond between Pokémon and trainers.

Pokémon card packs are the perfect little gift for any collector or gamer. It is the smallest unit to purchase Pokémon cards. Mega Evolution packs can have four different versions (artsy), but the contents are always the same (i.e. randomly mixed).
