It is up to a few brave souls with sharp intellects, honed survival instincts, or sheer dumb luck to confront these ancient dangers before they engulf us all.

The game features a story-driven campaign made up of several interconnected game scenarios. Each player takes on the role of one investigator and builds their own deck based on their abilities. Through the clues and experience gained in each scenario, the investigators unravel a deeper mystery within the campaign. Players traverse and explore a variety of menacing locations as they try to defeat or evade the treacherous forces of the Myth.

Individual characters gain experience as they investigate the mystery and gradually improveTheir abilities improve as they progressively receive higher level cards for their deck. But the investigators must not forget the dangers and the tightening noose of madness. Their goal is to stay sane and solve the mystery.

The Feast of Hemlock Vale Investigator expansion features five new investigators for Arkham Horror. It adds lots of new player cards and deck-building options, including brand new Bonded cards and cards that use Blessing and Curse tokens. Use the right tool for the job as handyman Wilson Richards, build the perfect lab as scientist Kate Winthrop, smooth your way out of danger as Countess Alessandra Zorzi, bring balance to chaos as folklorist Kōhaku Narukami, and plunge into danger to protect others as farmer Hank Samson.

This expansion is a fantastic addition to any version of Arkham Horror. Cards from it can be used to build or upgrade investigator decks for any scenario or campaign in the game.
