It's a deckbuilding game where each player builds a deck of cards based on their character, so the game always provides a new gameplay experience. Moreover, the game can be played by one player.
When renowned botanist Dr. Rosa Marquez receives a strange sample from the remote and mysterious Hemlock Isle, her instincts tell her that something is wrong. On the recommendation of an old colleague, she invites investigators to join her in exploring the island. Nothing prepares them for what they find: deadly mutant wildlife and a strange, malevolent presence permeate the island, while the locals prepare for the festival, seemingly unaware of the danger. The investigators have only three days to discover what lies beneath Hemlock Vale before its inhabitants meet a terrible fate.
In The Feast of Hemlock Vale campaign expansion, one to four investigators venture to Hemlock Isle, an island shrouded in mystery that has only recently opened to visitors. During the day, players bond with locals and explore the island, but once the sun sets, the island becomes a death trap filled with predatory, vicious beasts. Can they unlock the secrets of Hemlock Island in just three short days? Or will they be swallowed up in the coming feast?
