Aetherdrift
Aetherdrift is a Magic the Gathering card game set that will be released on February 14, 2025. It is a set themed around a race to the death. It will take place on three different planes - Amonkhet, Kaladesh and the new Muraganda. The main character is to be Chandra. The winner of the race is to get the Aetherspark.
The story is reminiscent of car racing themes, but transposed to a fantasy world. Let's see how Wizards of the Coast manages to work out the idea. The set contains a total of 291 cards. Each deck (play and collector) will contain one Vehicle card.
The Aetherdrift edition of Magic cards is available in the following packs: play booster pack, booster box, collector booster pack, collector booster box, commander decks, bundle and a special finish line bundle. Note the play booster box now has only 30 packs, instead of 36. Collector booster boxes may contain serialized cards (in less than 1% of decks). Finish line bundle contains 2 collector decks and 6 play decks. Play booster boxes contain 2 extra box topper cards (one foil land and one foil card).
This is the standard edition legal for the standard format.
