MTG Final Fantasy
Magic the Gathering cards will welcome the world of Final Fantasy in June 2025. Two major companies have agreed to work together to create a set that will be fully dedicated to Final Fantasy. Magic the Gathering will provide the platform (i.e. game mechanics) and Final Fantasy will bring its world. Final Fantasy has become especially famous for its computer games, which are loved by gamers all over the world. It is a fantasy setting combined with science fiction.
Thus, heroes from Final Fantasy stories will come to the world of Magic the Gathering. We can look forward to various rarity cards, often in anime form. The main characters of Commander decks, or some legendary Final Fantasy characters, have already been revealed.
Please note that this is not an expansion to the existing TCG Final Fantasy. This new edition expands the Magic the Gathering card game.
You can look forward to a starter set (two decks ready to play immediately), commander decks (suitable for intermediate players), as well as booster boxes, booster packs and a gift pack.
The MTG edition of Final Fantasy will be released on June 13, 2025.
