Codenames is a team game with simple rules. Teams are tasked with contacting all of their agents while knowing only their codenames. A one-word clue must suffice.

One person in the team is always the captain, who tells the other team members where their other secret agents are hidden so that they can contact them. But only their code names are known. The game board consists of 25 cards that hide your agents, enemies, neutral characters and the assassin. The captains take turns in the clues. Their teams are tasked with marking all the correct agent cards and avoiding the assassin card. Their only clue is a one-word clue. The team that manages to tag their own agents first wins.
