Pokémon 30th Anniversary

Pokémon 30th Anniversary is the 30th anniversary edition of Pokémon cards. The edition will be released on September 16, 2026 and will have a single worldwide release (Japan, Europe, USA and more). It brings legendary Pokémon such as Mew, Mewtwo, Pikachu and others.

The packs will contain 6 cards and all are expected to be foil. This set will include a brand new type of Futuristic (rarity cards). The 30th Anniversary is expected to cover all of the history and cross-sectionally commemorate iconic Pokémon from various sets. In total, 30 iconic characters from Pokémon TCG history are expected to appear. There will be at least 1 Pikachu card in each deck. There will be a total of 30 different Pikachu cards and each card will be from a different illustrator.

Charizard, Tag Team with Pikachu, Umbreon, Espeon, Sylveon, Lapras, Lycanroc, Zorua, Lugia, and Zamazenta are likely to be released.

30th Anniversary card packs with Espeon and Umbreon will also be released later in Japan. Whether we will see an English version of these as well is not yet certain. Details are yet to be announced by the Pokémon Company.
