Bear Wrr is a card game based on the children's book "Bear Wrr. In the book, the cuddly bear Wrr gets lost in a mysterious factory where Edwards the turtle prints books on a magical printing press. However, one of his accidentally unsealed books is escaped by a band of pirates who want to exploit the machine, so Edward prefers to hide 4 key parts of the machine in other books. He forgets which ones, however, and so when he meets Wrr Bear later in the story, he asks him if he can find the parts before the pirates do. Wrr thus enters various books where he becomes part of the plot, searching for the parts and fighting the pirates.
