What is Altered all about?
A long time ago, a turning point occurred - reality collided with the world of dreams and stories. This event, known as the Confluence, changed our existence forever. Magical beings began to share our world, not as enemies - but as allies. Together with humans, they began to build a new order and rebuild civilization.

How does Altered play?
Altered brings a fresh approach to collectible games. Each card comes with a QR code that makes it easy to add to your digital collection. The accompanying app, while optional, offers a number of benefits - easy trading, an overview of your collection and confirmation of the uniqueness of the card. Yes, if a card is marked as unique, there really is only one of each in the world. Your job is to get your hero to a magical companion. The two stand at opposite ends of the map and must traverse varied terrain. Each turn requires a thoughtful play of a card appropriate to the current environment. Your opponents, however, are trying to do the same, turning the game into a battle of wits and tactics.
