Starter Deck Ariel and Mulan (Amber and Sapphire) - the ninth series of the Disney Lorcan: Fabled collectible card game. Each Disney Lorcana Starter Deck contains everything a player needs to start playing immediately. Each deck has its own unique style. The pre-made deck includes - 1 finished 60-card deck, including 2 Premium Foil cards, and more. Immerse yourself in the fabulous world of Disney!
The Lorcana card game has passed its first card rotation. This means that cards from select editions will no longer be legal in the standard Core Constructed format. The four editions that have rotated off are - The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands, Ursula's Return. But not to worry most of the cards have been reprinted and released in exclusive new versions. It also brings the new Infinity Constructed format for unrestricted play, where you can use all cards regardless of rotation.
Fabled brings more popular characters from movies and TV shows into the game such as: The Goofy Movie characters, specifically Max Goof and Powerlin, who also get the first singing mechanic in the edition. Also making their first appearance are characters from the Dumbo movie and the Gargoyles series, which aired in 1994.
Let's introduce these characters:
- Mulan - The main character from the 1998 Disney film Mulan, based on an old Chinese legend. She is brave, smart and sacrifices herself for her family by marrying a man and joining the army in place of her ailing father. With her courage and wit, she manages to save the emperor and all of China from the Hun raids. Mulan differs from the classic princesses in that she is not a noblewoman and her strength lies in her own courage, not in magic.
- Ariel - The main character of The Little Mermaid (1989). She is a 16-year-old mermaid, daughter of King Triton, who differs from the others in that she is fascinated by the human world. Because of her desire to become human, she makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula, and in exchange for her voice, she gains legs and the opportunity to live among humans. Her story is about freedom, the desire for a different life and the courage to take risks for her dreams.
