Marvel's Spider-Man
In September 2025, a new edition of Magic the Gathering called Marvel's Spider-Man will be released. The MTG Spider-Man set is based on the original Marvel Spider-Man comic book. However, everything will follow the rules of the decades-tested Magic the Gathering card game, guaranteeing that the Spider-Man cards won't just disappear and will be fun.
The following MTG Spiderman products have been announced: collector booster boxes, play booster boxes and decks, bundle and special scene boxes. The prerelease packs will also be available. Unfortunately it looks like starter kits or commander decks will not be on sale (or will not be in the first wave of products). So for new players (and Spiderman fans) who haven't played Magic the Gathering yet, we don't know what product to recommend because there's not really anything to start playing with. If you can get your hands on a prerelease pack, that's probably the best thing (but the supply will be limited). Then probably just buy the Spiderman bundle and mix it with one of the starter kits or this beginner box.
