Product description

The Signature: Villains expansion for the popular family storytelling game Dixit includes 21 beautifully illustrated glossy cards featuring irresistible villains from the worlds of Disney and Pixar.

Refresh your Dixit world with 21 more glossy cards dedicated to villains, their schemes, and unexpected stories! Villains from the worlds of Disney and Pixar take center stage in Dixit. Their schemes, thirst for power, and mischievous humor will offer you new possibilities for creating clues and stories.

The Dixit Signature – Villains box includes game rules in Czech and Slovak.

The set does not include a scoring track, figures, or guessing tokens, so you’ll need one of the base versions of the game—such as Dixit or Dixit Odyssey—to play.

Let your imagination run wild and create your own stories with this unusual yet beloved game.

At the start of the game, each player is dealt several picture cards. These are quite unusual; the images are very diverse and unconventionally rendered. One player becomes the storyteller—they secretly choose one card from their hand and, based on its image, tell a story, such as a single sentence, a single word, or a sound associated with that card.

The other players try to find the card in their hand that best matches the storyteller’s story. Then all players, including the storyteller, place their cards face down in a pile on the table; the cards are shuffled and arranged face up in a row. Players then secretly guess which card is the storyteller’s and best captures the story that was told.

Players who guessed correctly—and the storyteller—receive points for each correctly identified card. Correct answers are scored by moving wooden rabbit figurines along a scoring track, which is humorously placed inside the game box. The next player in turn order then becomes the storyteller, and the round repeats. The winner is the player who has the most points at the end of the game.

The main twist of the game is for players to correctly determine how detailed their card description should be. A description that is too simple or, conversely, too complex will earn fewer points, because too few or, conversely, too many players will guess the correct answer.
